I posted about some appearances of mine on releases raising donations for Japan relief efforts. Beside contributing ‘Notturno’ to the ‘31 songs for Japan’ compilation on flau label and appearing with some violin recordings for the piece ‘Daylight’ by aus on the ‘For Nihon’ compilation curated by Keith and Hollie Kenniff from Unseen Music I also have to add now an appearance as Field Rotation on the ‘Kanhsin’ compilation curated by Fluid Audio and Hibernate Recordings. ‘Kanshin’ raises donations for the JEARS organisation directly working in the Sendai region to help the victims of the earthquake and tsunami from March 11th. And if you need a reason why they chose JEARS and not the Red Cross Japan: our dear friend Ian Hawgood and his wife are currently working for JEARS so that 100% of the profits will definitely find its way to the support of the victims in Sendai.
If you want still want to help get your copy from one of the stores directly linked from kanshin.co.uk.
